A mother is suing on behalf of herself and her son after a collision with a truck in Lebanon.
Antwynette Golliday filed a recent lawsuit in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Kevin L. Kuepfer and Beelman Truck Co.
Antwynette Golliday claims she was driving her car west on U.S. Highway 50 near the intersection of Belleville Street in Lebanon when a truck operated by Kuepfer collided with her vehicle injuring her and her son who was a passenger in her car.
She says the truck operator failed to stop or swerve to avoid the collision, and failed to keep his truck under control. She further blames Keupfer for driving faster than conditions warranted, not keeping an adequate lookout and not maintaining adequate brakes.
She says she and her son both suffered severe injuries, pain and anguish.
In her complaint, Golliday seeks more than $50,000 on each of four counts against Kuepfer and Beelman Trucking Co., which employs him.
Kenneth B. Beljanski of Brown & Brown will be representing her.
