Tamecia McCloud is suing Darrell Haslett for "wrongfully and forcefully" making unwanted sexual contact with her.
According to a lawsuit filed Aug. 8 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, McCloud was at her East St. Louis residence when the alleged unwelcome actions occurred Aug. 9, 2006.
"Defendant knew or should have known that such action was not welcome, and as such the action would be offensive," the complaint states.
McCloud claims physical and emotional pain and discomfort. She also claims Haslett's alleged conduct "was extreme and outrageous."
"Defendant intended or knew with high probability that his conduct would inflict severe emotional distress," the complaint states.
McCloud is seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages. She is represented by Staci M. Yandle of Belleville.
