A fairness hearing is set for Tuesday to determine whether a charitable contribution of over $1,200,000 is a fair end to a 2004 class action suit brought against an insurance company over claims adjustments. A class member objected to the settlement that she claims does not compensate class members. In the course of the objection, attorneys representing the entire class asked for the removal of objector Kathleen Roche's attorney, Richard Burke.
The hearing is set for 1:30 p.m.
